Dear UTA alumni,

It’s been an exciting week at UTA starting with the announcement that the WNBA Dallas Wings will call College Park Center home beginning this spring! We will honor our veterans with several events next Wednesday on Veterans Day, and we are in the final stages of rolling out a week of fun to celebrate Homecoming Week 2015. We’re looking forward to seeing you!

Dallas Wings Ready to Fly

The WNBA unveiled the new team name and logo of the Dallas Wings, formerly the Tulsa Shock, this week at UTA’s College Park Center, which will become the Wings’ home court beginning with the 2016 season. The kickoff media event featured star players Odyssey Sims and Skylar Diggins, who promised that the team will be “market disrupters” and “the team you don’t want to play.” Read more at wnba.com.
