Maverick Speakers Series with Jane Goodall

Tickets for the last Maverick Speakers Series of the spring semester featuring Dr. Jane Goodall will be made available on Tuesday, March 1. Preferred ticket packages and free general admission tickets for "Gombe and Beyond: An Evening With Dr. Jane Goodall" can be found at utatickets.com. This special lecture will take place at 7:30 p.m. on March 31 in College Park Center.

. ACES Symposium .

ACES Symposium

On March 23, the Annual Celebration of Excellence by Students (ACES) will attract students and judges from all disciplines at the undergraduate and graduate levels to showcase research performed by UTA students. It is an interdisciplinary event that brings together students and faculty members as well as the alumni who come back to campus to judge each poster and oral presentation  at the symposium. Alumni Spotlight

The Fox 12 Oregon news team gained a tremendous reporter when they hired UTA alumna Elizabeth Dinh. Elizabeth previously reported for CBS DFW Channel 11 before accepting her new role in Oregon as the anchor for the weekday evening news. Congratulations to Elizabeth! UTA wishes you nothing but continued success.

UTA Powwow

The 21st Annual UTA Powwow featuring traditional dancing, food, and exhibits will be held 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 27, in the E.H. Hereford University Center Bluebonnet Ballroom and is free and open to the public. For more information visit the Native American Student Association website.

School of Social Work Night at Mavs Basketball
