Season Success

After many hard fought contests at home and on the road, several UTA basketball teams ended their season this past weekend in grand fashion. The Lady Movin' Mavs Wheelchair Basketball Team brought home their first ever national championship while the Movin' Mavs placed third at nationals. The men's and women's basketball teams rounded out their seasons with runs in the CollegeInsider.com Tournament and the Sun Belt Conference Championship Tournament, respectively. Congratulations to coaches Scott Cross, Krista Gerlich, Doug Garner, and Jason Nelms for leading their teams and making Mav Nation proud!

Alumni Spotlight

Generations of UTA graduates have left their mark on campus in a number of different ways. The annual College Park Center Brick Campaign is a thoughtful way not only to memorialize your time as a Maverick but also to help pave the road for future classes of UTA students. By purchasing a brick and personalizing it through this campaign, you contribute to a scholarship fund for deserving and talented students. For more information about how you can become a part of this tradition or how you can say congratulations to a member of this year's graduating class, visit the Development and Alumni Relations website.
