SEIR Building

UT System Board of Regents approved plans for the Science and Engineering Innovation and Research (SEIR) building on May 12. The world-class research facility highlights UTA’s continual rise as a leader in STEM and health disciplines and as a major producer of intellectual capital in the region. The 220,000-square-foot building fosters multidisciplinary research and collaborative work in large, multi-use spaces using a "science-on-display" design that features modern glass and steel facades. Work on the building will begin this fall and finish in 2018.

Commencement Recap

From the Maverick Ring Ceremony to updating their LinkedIn profile to include graduate of UTA, this year’s senior class passed many milestones and experienced the UTA traditions we are all familiar with on their way to earning their degree. Commencement ceremonies this past weekend gave more than 5,600 students the chance to engage the University in a new way, as an alumni. Once again, from your alumni relations team, we would like to wish spring graduates a heartfelt congratulations and welcome them to Mav Nation!
