You are invited to join us as we celebrate the achievements of our distinguished alumni and the University's accomplishments from the previous year. The Distinguished Alumni Awards reception and dinner always marks the year in grand style and is a special night dedicated to honoring those who have devoted time and energy to making UTA what it is today. The University of Texas at Arlington honors exemplary alumni who have exhibited outstanding professional achievement, community engagement, and loyalty to their alma mater. Each year they are recognized at the Distinguished Alumni Awards banquet held on the UTA campus. This year's honorees, from left to right above, are the Honorable B. Glen Whitley, who will receive the 2016 Distinguished Alumni and Community Service Award for his volunteer efforts supporting higher education and military veterans; finance executive C. Keith Cargill; US Army Major General Daniel P. Hughes; and Acutecare CIO Liz Johnson. JPS physician Jocelyn Zee will also receive the inaugural Recent Graduate Award.
