UTA Expertise for love field
Shima Hamidi, executive director of the Institute of Urban Studies and an assistant professor in UTA's College of Architecture, Planning and Public Affairs, will lead a City of Dallas study researching a proposed north entrance to Love Field. UTA is surveying property owners, airport passengers, and residents to determine what might be the best fit for the area just north of the airport. READ MORE

Alumna named Executive Chairman
Dr. Jacqualyn Fouse ('82, '84, '12) was appointed Executive Chairman of Dermavant Sciences, a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing and commercializing innovative therapies in medical dermatology. Fouse earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in economics before completing her PhD in 2012. All three degrees were awarded at UTA. READ MORE
