New Public Health Degree
The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board has approved the creation of a bachelor’s degree in public health at UTA’s College of Nursing and Health Innovation effective fall 2017. The comprehensive program will include the introduction of a graduate certificate in public health. READ MORE

Award Winning Alumna
Raehann Bryce-Davis (‘10), critically acclaimed mezzo soprano, won both the Grand Prize and Audience Prize at the Concorso Lirico di Portofino, a prestigious vocal competition in Portofino, Italy on July 16th. Bryce-Davis shared first place with Hungarian Mezzo Soprano Szilvia Vörös. READ MORE

Robert J. Gatchel, Distinguished Professor of Psychology and Nancy P. & John G. Penson Endowed Professor of Clinical Health Psychology, has been awarded the American Psychological Foundation’s 2017 Gold Medal Award for Life Achievement in the Application of Psychology. READ MORE

UTA Night at the Rangers | Gather with UTA alumni and friends for a pre-game picnic on the third base concourse from 5:30-7:00 pm before the Texas Rangers take on the Seattle Mariners at Globe Life Park.
