AN OVERVIEW OF WHAT’S HAPPENING ON YOUR CAMPUS THIS WEEK.

A community that cares
A Community that Cares

Dear Friends,

Although this weekly newsletter celebrates UTA, we wanted to take a moment to let all members of our Maverick family affected by Hurricane Harvey know our thoughts are with them. If you know of current students affected by the storm, please direct them to our Community That Cares website or encourage them to email studentaffairs@uta.edu to take advantage of the University resources available to them. Our thoughts are also with our Maverick alumni in the affected areas. Following FEMA recommendations, we encourage you to visit the National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster website to learn how you can help. As new resources and opportunities develop, we will do our part to keep you informed of them.

Sincerely,

 Julie Barfield
