Surpassing expectations
UTA Men's Basketball

Led by Joe B. Hall and Hugh Durham award finalist Chris Ogden, the UTA men's basketball team made a deep run in the Sun Belt Conference Tournament before finishing their season as a runner-up in the tournament championship game. The team completed the 2018-2019 campaign with an overall win-loss record of 17-16 and a 12-6 conference record. With several returning starters, your Mavericks will look to improve on this year's success with an even better 2019-2020 season. Go Mavs! READ MORE

A dominant program
#MavGrad

Very few collegiate wheelchair basketball teams can boast of multiple national championships and men's and women's programs that consistently compete for a national title every year. Doug Garner's program is one of them. In 2018-2019, the Lady Movin' Mavs came up just short of another national championship, placing second only to Alabama. The Movin' Mavs won the third-place spot in dominant fashion, beating Missouri 65-46. Congrats to both teams!
