UT Arlington to close at noon today, February 27; Saturday classes canceled

The University of Texas at Arlington will close at noon today, Friday, February 27, 2015, due to winter weather conditions, snow accumulations on roadways, and forecasts for additional freezing precipitation. Classes also are canceled Saturday, February 28, on the main UT Arlington campus and at the UT Arlington Fort Worth Center.

The UT Arlington Central Library and the Connection Café in the E.H. Hereford University Center will remain open on normal schedules to serve students.

The Maverick Activities Center will be closed through Saturday. The College of Engineering Awards Banquet scheduled for this evening has been canceled.

Please continue to monitor University email and the UT Arlington home page, www.uta.edu, for the latest information. Notices also will be distributed to area media outlets and through the official UT Arlington Facebook and Twitter feeds.
