UTA cheerleaders win fourth consecutive NCA national championship

UTA's cheerleading team won its fourth consecutive national championship Friday at the National Cheerleaders Association's collegiate cheer competition in Daytona, Florida. UTA’s 17-member Maverick Cheer squad took home first place in the Small Coed Division I group. LEARN MORE.

Get moving with Zumbathon fundraiser

UTA's fifth annual Zumbathon Dance for a Cause, hosted by Campus Recreation and the Relationship Violence and Sexual Assault Prevention program, raises money for The Women's Center. Attend 6-6:50 p.m. through Thursday, April 13, at the Maverick Activities Center. Classes are $5.
