Basketball teams end successful seasons

The men's basketball team fell to top-seeded Georgia State in the Sun Belt Conference tournament's basketball championship game. The regular-season champion Lady Mavs basketball team lost to South Alabama in the semifinal contest of the women's tournament.

The Lady Movin' Mavs wheelchair basketball team placed second and the Movin' Mavs men's team came in third place in the National Wheelchair Basketball Association's collegiate tournaments.

Strategic plan symposiums

About 60 faculty members from across campus attended the inaugural symposium aimed at determining the progress the University has made in its strategic plan themes. The first session looked at Sustainable Urban Communities. Read more.

Textbook adoption

The UTA Bookstore requests faculty submit textbook orders for the summer and fall semesters by Monday, April 15. Read more.

Beginning with the fall 2019 semester, credit or debit cards used to pay tuition, fees, or other charges posted in MyMav will be assessed a 2.25 percent convenience fee. Read more.

Grad Finale this week

Find everything you need for spring Commencement at the Grad Finale Monday-Thursday, March 18-21, at the UTA Bookstore. Grad Finale hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Monday-Tuesday and 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Wednesday-Thursday.
