Resources available to UTA community members from areas affected by travel ban

With the recent White House executive order temporarily banning entry into the United States of citizens from several nations, UTA strongly urges those from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen not to travel outside the U.S. at this time.

Several resources are available to members of the UTA family affected by or concerned about this situation.

UTA launches new programs to promote undergraduate research, student success

UTA has developed three new programs that allow students to work in undergraduate research, including one that permits students to use their federal work-study hours. The new programs are the Undergraduate Research Assistant Program, the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program, and the Summer Research Academy of the UT System Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation. Wenger new volleyball head coach

  J.T. Wenger  

Regarded as one of the top young coaches in the nation, J.T. Wenger has been named the head coach of the UTA volleyball program. He is a former assistant coach at UCLA, the University of Colorado, and Michigan State. Wenger takes over for Diane Seymour, who served as head coach 2004-16 and retired with an overall record of 211-195. He is the seventh coach in the history of the program. LEARN MORE.
