Meet candidates for VP for Student Affairs

Candidates for vice president for Student Affairs will have sessions open to the University community at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15, in Room 204 of the CAPPA Building; 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, in Room 212 of Pickard Hall; and 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 17, in Room 100 of the Geoscience Building. Each candidate will speak, followed by a question-and-answer session with students, faculty, and staff.

The candidate’s name and resume will be released 24 hours in advance of each session.

Detours on west campus this weekend

UTA Boulevard between Kerby Street and West Nedderman Drive will be closed Saturday-Sunday, Nov. 18-19, for removal of the construction crane at West Campus Garage. Alternate east-west options include Abram Street, Greek Row Drive, and Mitchell Street.


Buy Thanksgiving dinner tickets

A new Maverick tradition, UTA's Thanksgiving dinner is a chance to share fellowship and gratitude. The meal is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov 21, in the Connection Café in the University Center. The meal is free for students with a meal plan. Tickets are required for others: $5 for students without a meal plan and $8 for faculty, staff, and friends. Receive a free meal by volunteering.
