Announcement: Senior Lecturer Positions
The College of Engineering (COE) at the University of Texas at Arlington (UT Arlington) is seeking applications for several senior lecturer positions in the Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering departments. Each position is a non-tenure track with 9-month academic year appointment and the possible opportunity of additional appointment during summers. An earned doctoral degree in one of the four disciplines or a closely related field is required. For Civil Engineering, the preferred areas of expertise are construction or infrastructure. For Electrical Engineering positions, the preferred areas of expertise are control systems, telecommunication, embedded systems, microprocessors and microcontrollers. For Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering positions, the preferred areas of expertise are rotorcraft and manufacturing. Teaching assignments may include laboratory instruction. Candidates with experience in teaching higher education courses are preferred. Successful candidates are expected to teach undergraduate and master’s-level courses in their respective disciplines.
