Our Students

The College of Engineering is home to a diverse community of students from around the country and across the globe. It is this mixture of ethnicities, genders, nationalities, and socioeconomic backgrounds that helps makes UT Arlington great. Being exposed to a multitude of different perspectives prepares our students for life in the modern global workforce, and is one of the University’s strengths.

Our Facilities

The College of Engineering boasts 417,359 square feet of facilities in more than 16 buildings, both on the main campus in Arlington and in surrounding cities. The most prominent of these is the 234,000-square-foot Engineering Research Building. The ERB is the largest building on campus and was the first to receive LEED® Gold status. It is a state-of-the-art model for interdisciplinary research and collaboration.

UT Arlington sits in the heart of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, a thriving area that is home to hundreds of Fortune 500, engineering, and technology companies.

The University’s prime location gives our students access to important internships and co-op positions, and provides a great advantage for graduates entering the workforce.

Arlington is at the crossroads of seven major highways and two major airports. Students can find a variety of extracurricular activities in the city and surrounding areas, from sports and shopping to operas and amusement parks.
