Mr. Bradford began his career in the semiconductor industry as a process engineer at Sperry Univac (later to become Unisys), rising through the ranks to become the manager over manufacturing and development engineering organizations. In 1989, he joined National Semiconductor where, over the past 18 years, he has held positions in both product development and manufacturing.
Mr. Bradford holds patents and has published papers relating to both superconductor and semiconductor technologies. For the College of Engineering, he held the vice-chairman and chairman positions on the advisory board from January 1998 through March 2000. He also was chairman of the Mansfield Independent School District’s Future Planning Committee from 2003 to 2006.
