Mike Hawkins (’83 BS Mechanical Engineering) is living in Breckenridge, Colorado and running two businesses – an executive retreat (www.alpinevillaretreat.com) and a boutique leadership development and consulting company (www.alpinelink.com). He has also just authored a book, “Activating Your Ambition.”

Zeyu “Jerry” Gao (’95 Ph.D. Computer Science & Engineering) is a full professor in the Department of Computer Engineering at San Jose State University.

Scott Berman, P.E. (’01 BS Civil Engineering) is a storm water management engineer with Freese and Nichols, Inc. in Fort Worth. Scott was recently elected president of the ASCE Fort Worth Branch.
Noman Khan (’04 MS Materials Science & Engineering) is a metallurgy specialist with Cristal Global in Yanbu City, Saudi Arabia. Cristal Global is second in the world after DuPont in producing titanium dioxide.
Rashed Islam (’08 Ph.D. Materials Science & Engineering) is a senior materials engineer at Eoplex Technologies in Redwood City, California.
Gilbert Moreno (‘09 Ph.D. Mechanical Engineering) is an Advanced Vehicles Group engineer with the National Renewable Energy Laboratory in Golden, Colorado. Gilbert is investigating innovative cooling solutions for the power electronics found in hybrid electric and electric vehicles.
