James M. Crites LLC
James M. Crites is the sole-proprietor of James M. Crites LLC, a transportation consultancy firm.
He recently retired from Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport after having initially served as the Director of Planning and subsequently serving as the Executive Vice President for the Operations Division. In that capacity he led the efforts of departments including Airport Operations, Energy Transportation and Asset Management, Department of Public Safety, Environmental Affairs and Airport Development and Engineering.
He is serving as the immediate past Chairman of the Executive Committee for the Transportation Research Board, National Academy of Sciences; as well as the immediate past Chairman, the University of Texas at Arlington, College of Engineering Advisory Board.
