Rudy Garcia has 38 years of experience across a broad spectrum of civil engineering practice. Throughout his career he has been responsible for numerous public works projects including aviation and roadway reconstruction projects, involving utility design and relocation, paving and drainage, and public transit, educational, parking and other facilities projects.
He currently serves as principal-in-charge for several high-profile projects, including the firm’s work as civil engineer of record for the Tarrant County College District’s Downtown Campus and the Omni Convention Center Hotel in Fort Worth. Additionally, he manages design review services for the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington. LOPEZGARCIA GROUP is a leading multi-disciplinary engineering services firm. Headquartered in Dallas, the firm has offices in six cities across Texas.
Mr. Garcia participates in a number of professional and civic organizations, including the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the Fort Worth Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is a firm believer in education, encouraging people of all ages to pursue all educational avenues available to them and actively supporting the Fort Worth Independent School District’s Adopt-a-School program.
