Bob Gnuse has 30 years of experience in the engineering and evironmental consulting industry, most recently providing management and sales consulting services for engineering and construction firms through GNUSE Consulting Group, LLC. Prior to founding his consulting practice in 2008, Mr. Gnuse was Sr. Vice President - Director of Sales and Marketing for Alpharetta, Georgia-based MACTEC Engineering & Consulting, Inc. (formerly Law Engineering), where he was responsible for oversight and direction of all business development programs of the $500 million business.
Highlights of his responsibilities and achievements in that position include: development, implementation and management of key sales and marketing initiatives (e.g., National Key Client Program, Client Satisfaction Program, Sales Management Initiative); leadership and implementation of emerging market sector initiatives in energy, sustainability, and facility asset management services; and promotion and leadership of company business ventures into China and other international marketing opportunities overseas.
Mr. Gnuse has developed sales training courses and taught basic sales principles to over 500 technical professionals who needed to persuade at the decision-making levels of companies. He has trained technical professionals in lunch-and-learn formats and in formal classroom settings.
A registered Professional Engineer in four states, he held the technical title at MACTEC of Senior Principal Engineer. Mr. Gnuse has practiced in the commercial/industrial and public sector markets and has principal reviewed hundreds of Environmental, Geotechnical and Property Condition assessment reports.
Mr. Gnuse earned the Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) professional designation in 2008 and LEED® AP sustainability certification in 2009. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Regis University, as well as Master of Science and Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Mr. Gnuse is married with two children and his interests outside of work include golf, skiing, real estate investment and training dogs.
