Mike Greene worked for Energy Future Holdings, formerly TXU, for 46 years before retiring as Vice Chairman. Over the years, he served in many roles throughout the company including power sales representative, power plant superintendent, vice president of marketing, executive vice president of TXU Fuel, executive vice president of TXU Mining, president of TXU Transmission, president of TXU Pipeline, president of Oncor and ceo of Luminant.
He served on the board of the Electric Reliability Council of Texas for nine years and was chairman for six terms.
He serves on the UT Arlington President’s Advisory Council and the Engineering Council.
He serves as vice chairman of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation.
He serves as chairman of the advisory board of Community Link, the food pantry serving Northwest Tarrant County.
Mike and his wife, Janet, live on Eagle Mountain Lake and have four children and nine grandchildren.
