Joe Schneider brings a wealth of knowledge in land development from his over 25 year career in the industry. At Hillwood, he is responsible for land and infrastructure planning, project feasibility management, entitlements and coordination with multiple governmental agencies. In establishing facilities and programs within the AllianceTexas development, he contributes a wide range of understanding for multiple projects, including industrial, commercial, office, corporate campuses, multi-family, retail, theme parks and more.
Prior to joining Hillwood, Mr. Schneider worked for 16 years as a civil engineering consultant, primarily in municipal facilities and land development, in San Antonio, Houston and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex.
Schneider is a current member and has held several offices in the Texas Society of Professional Engineers, the American Society of Civil Engineers and the Metroport Rotary Club in Westlake. In addition, he is chairman of the advisory board for the Trinity River Authority’s Denton Creek Regional System, has served on several city and regional infrastructure advisory committees and is an active leader in the Boy Scouts of America. He is a licensed professional engineer and licensed real estate broker for the state of Texas.
