
The College of Engineering's Engineering Student Services provides a diverse mix of services to entering and current students. The friendly staff assists all students in achieving continuing academic success.
Advisors are available for:
- Help with selecting a major or minor
- Learning skills coaching, workshops and classes
- Individual and group tutoring
- One-on-one mentoring
- Financial assistance
- Disability accommodation
- Personal counseling
- Job-hunting skills
- Coop ed
Students may receive assistance in establishing coursework that best fits their skills and interests and examine current scholarships that are available and applicable. When necessary, advisors may also help students deal with academic probation and chart a course for improvement.
We also provide private areas for tutoring, graduate distance education information, cooperative education opportunities and information on Fundamentals of Engineering review seminars and professional engineer licensure for the State of Texas.
Our office is located in room 242 of Nedderman Hall.
Hours: Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm.
