FACULTY POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT
College of Engineering
The University of Texas at Arlington, College of Engineering seeks a distinguished scholar for a senior faculty position. Areas of specialization are open to any that fit within or across the current engineering departments or programs including aerospace engineering, bioengineering, civil and environmental engineering, computer science and engineering, computer science, software engineering, electrical engineering, industrial engineering, materials science and engineering, mechanical engineering, and systems engineering.
Candidates must have the qualifications, experience, and stature appropriate for the rank of a tenured Full professor in the College of Engineering and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in research and teaching. The successful candidate will have a strong record of externally funded research, be a well-published scholar in areas that are emphasized in the College. Moreover, the person will be expected to maintain a funded research program and to lead efforts to attract funds to establish centers of excellence in areas that are relevant to Texas and the nation.
