College of Engineering Fall 2008 Commencement Speaker - Donald R. Bobbitt
The College will hold its fall Commencement ceremony at 12:30 on Saturday, December 13. Students and their families and friends are encouraged to attend; location and additional information may be found on the Commencement page.
Dr. Donald Bobbitt, Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Texas at Arlington, will present the Charge to Graduates. He holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Iowa State University. Before coming to UT Arlington, Dr. Bobbitt was the dean of the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Arkansas; he also served as the College’s associate dean of research. The College consisted of 19 departments and nearly 6,400 students.
