Ticket Information

All candidates for graduation are encouraged to invite their family and friends to help them celebrate this significant milestone and momentous occasion.  All graduates, family, and other guests over the age of two must have a commencement ticket to enter the College Park Center.

Who is eligible to participate in commencement exercises?

Students who are candidates for graduation in May 2014 are eligible to participate in May 2014 commencement ceremonies.  These students will be contacted by their School or College regarding the process for participating in Spring commencement ceremonies.

Claiming Tickets for Commencement

Do graduates need a ticket to enter the commencement venue?

Yes, students who are eligible to participate in commencement (as defined above) will receive two emails sent to their UT Arlington email account on April 11.  One email will contain the graduate’s ticket for admittance to his/her ceremony.  The other email will contain instructions on claiming guest tickets.

How do I claim guest tickets?

Ticketing Offer 1: On April 11, graduates who registered with the College of Engineering before April 3 will receive an email with information on how to claim up to six guest tickets reserved in their name, and up to four more guest tickets while quantities last. This offer will begin April 11 at 10:00 am and last until noon on April 25, at which time all reserved guest tickets will no longer be available and all unclaimed guest tickets will return to a central ticketing pool. Graduates registering after April 3 will have to get tickets directly from the College, by emailing Tracey Faulkinbury at tracey@uta.edu.

Graduates are asked to download only the actual number of guest tickets that they will use so students who need them can claim them through Ticketing Offer 2.

Ticketing Offer 2: On April 28, graduates will receive an email with information on how to claim additional guest tickets from the central ticketing pool, if available, and while quantities last. This offer will begin April 28 at 10:00 am and last until noon on May 6.

Ticketing Offer 3: On May 7, graduates will receive an email with information on how to claim up to six stand-by tickets. Seating for stand-by ticket holders is not guaranteed and will be based on availability of seating in College Park Center at the time of the ceremony. This offer will begin May 7 at 10:00 am and last until the start time of each individual ceremony.
