All candidates for graduation are encouraged to invite their family and friends to help them celebrate this significant milestone and momentous occasion. All graduates, family, and other guests over the age of two must have a commencement ticket to enter the College Park Center.
Who is eligible to participate in commencement exercises?
Students who are candidates for graduation in August 2014 or December 2014 are eligible to participate in December 2014 commencement ceremonies. These students will be contacted by their School or College regarding the process for participating in Fall commencement ceremonies.
Claiming Tickets for Commencement
Do graduates need a ticket to enter the commencement venue?
Yes, students who are eligible to participate in commencement (as defined above) will receive two emails sent to their UT Arlington email account a month or so before the graduation. One email will contain the graduate’s ticket for admittance to his/her ceremony. The other email will contain instructions on claiming guest tickets.
Each student will be able to download a guaranteed SIX (6) tickets on Ticket Offer #1 (available from November 17 - December 1). Ticket Offer #2 (December 2 - December 8) will consist of any unclaimed tickets and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Ticket Offer #3 (December 9 - December December 13) will consist of any remaining tickets. The number of tickets for Ticket Offer #2 and Ticket Offer #3 will depend on the number of students who have registered to graduate and the number of remaining tickets in each offer. This website will be updated as the number of tickets per student become available.
