December 7, 2011 - Committee D15 on Engine Coolants has presented Aleksei Gershun, Ph.D., technical fellow at Prestone Products Corp. with Award of Merit, ASTM's highest organizational recognition for individual contributions to standards activities. A member of ASTM since 1996, Gershun has authored or co-authored several engine coolant articles published as ASTM Special Technical Papers. He has 20+ years of experience in research, manufacturing, and distribution of coolants, lubricants, and lubricant additives.
