Staff Adopt Children from Angel Tree

For the third year, the College of Engineering's administrative staff adopted children from the Angel Tree to ensure that those children will have gifts at Christmas.
Led by Cindy Bradfield (Bioengineering) and Pam McBride (Computer Science and Engineering), the administrative staff and Computer Science faculty collected $400 toward gifts for four siblings and were able to provide every item on each child's need list and wish list.
"This is our third year adopting children from the angel tree," Bradfield explained. "The first year, we adopted a little girl and got so many gifts for her that the next year we adopted a boy and a girl. This year, the Computer Science faculty liked the idea and donated money also. We adopted a whole family! Pam and I had a lot of fun separating and organizing the gifts and, of course, shopping!"
