Management for Convergence Technologies

that Bill Hieatt has been appointed as the Vice President of
Practice Management for Converged Technologies, serving both
existing and new clients in North America and Global.

that Bill Hieatt has been appointed as the Vice President of
Practice Management for Converged Communications and IT
Technologies, serving both existing and new clients in North America
and Global.
Bill brings 18 years of experience providing vision and direction
in the telecommunications and wireless industry. He has an extensive
background in next generation convergence technologies, legacy
networks and value-added services. In his new role, Bill manages
overall practice management across convergence technologies,
products, services and systems by managing existing clients of
Global-i's services and spurring new practice activities in North
America/global.
Most recently, Bill worked for First Broadcasting in Dallas, a
leading company specializing in acquisition and development of U.S.
radio stations and broadcast properties, where he was the Vice
President of Engineering and Software Development. Before that Bill
worked at Communications Technologies based in Chantilly, VA, a
telecommunications and information systems company at a Director
position. In this role in addition to his operational
responsibilities, he was responsible for the company's commercial
business development which included Motorola's Canopy fixed wireless
and Nortel's VoIP products. Prior to this Bill served as Vice
President of Engineering for NetVoice Technologies in Irving, TX. At
Netvoice, Bill worked closely with Cisco and enabled NetVoice to
become one of Cisco's select strategic alliance partners in areas
such as broadband wireless, IP/SS7 convergence, and IP Centrex. Bill
also worked as a Senior VP of Network Engineering and Operations at
Conxus Communications based out of Greenville, SC, a narrowband PCS
carrier. Bill began his career at Motorola, where he was a Principal
Staff Engineer in Motorola's Advanced Messaging and Systems Division
in Boynton Beach, FL.

targeted solutions specifically in the voice, data, video, mobility,
collaboration and cloud-based services areas to clients via its
Consulting and Contracting Services. The focus will be on Global-i's
solutions tied to Assessments & Strategy, Proof-of-Concepts
& Pilots, Product Development, Go-to-Market & Product
Launches, Product & Service Management, Service Deployment,
Infrastructure Implementation, Engineering Services, Program &
Project Management and other sustaining services.
Bill earned his BSEE and MSEE from the University of Texas in
Arlington and a MBA from Florida International University in Miami.
