Eligible undergraduate engineering students must be admitted by mid-February in order to receive automatic consideration for general academic scholarships administered through the UT Arlington Scholarship Office. Notifications to scholarship recipients will be sent in early March.
The number of scholarships awarded varies from year to year. Not all students who meet the minimum criteria will receive an award. UT Arlington's general academic scholarships are renewable.

The Cindy Atha Shira Simcha “Pay It Forward” Scholarship fund has been established to support graduate students
who have completed all or a majority of their preparatory education in a country outside of the United States and who are enrolled in the
College of Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington. The one-year scholarship provides recipients $1000 and qualifies them for resident tuition rates.
