September 20th, 2011: Professor Stacy Alaimo's book, Bodily Natures: Science, Environment, and the Material Self has won the 2011 Association for the Study of Literature & Environment (ASLE) award for the "Best scholarly work of ecocriticism." Professor Alaimo is currently teaching a sophomore course on Environmental Literature and Film.
