Hands-on Training Sessions
The following is a series of screencasts that cover useful information on the use of several software applications that are heavily used in the eCreate Lab and Classroom. The videos are displayed using HTMl5 with a series of encodings provided that should work across all web browsers that support HTML 5. If your browser does not support HTML 5 video or has an error playing (our current implementation is somewhat buggy), a download link for an MP4 video encoded in .H264 has been provided for viewing outside of the web browser.

- The first screencast of the series introduces new users to the main interface elements of Dreamweaver and gives a brief overview of their functions.

- This tutorial goes over the manipulation and formatting of text with the use of Cascading Style Sheets and the creation of hyper-links.

- Tables
- Tables are the simplest method for creating a layout and recommended for beginners, especially if you have used tables in word-processors like MS Word.

- Divisions (div tags) are a more advanced means for creating a pages layout and make heavy-use of Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) and are recommended for more experienced users.
