Dr.Kenneth Roemer wins this year's Graduate Dean’s Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring Award.

In recognition of your dedication to mentoring doctoral students at UT Arlington, Dr. Kenneth Roemer has been selected as the recipient this year’s Graduate Dean’s Excellence in Doctoral Mentoring Award. The Selection Committee extended its respect and admiration to Dr. Roemer for his consistent record of excellence in promoting the professional, personal, and academic development of doctoral students at the University of Texas at Arlington. Effective mentoring is a crucial determinant of the academic and professional success of a graduate student, and Dr. Roemer fulfills this critical role of doctoral faculty in a manner that everyone hopes will inspire others to emulate. This award is intended to provide the UT Arlington community the opportunity to learn about and acknowledge Dr. Roemer's achievements as a mentor.

Dr. Roemer was recognized at the Annual Celebration of Excellence by Students (ACES) award ceremony on March 22, 2012 at 5:00pm in Rio Grande B in the E.H. Hereford University Center.
