Dickinson Criticism 1987
- Miller, Cristanne. Emily Dickinson: A Poet's Grammar. Cambridge, MA: Harvard University Press, 1987. Distancing, slantness, and stylization in the poet's language; compression, disjunction and repetition in her style; gender as a key dynamic. A worthy successor to Lindberg-Seyersted (1968), especially in its incorporation of theory.
