lux aeterna
Richard Carfagna
we channel our realities

	       thru the conscious mind

      seeking to erase

           the errata-auras

       which entangle us

        within these receding peripheries ...

the rhythms of this enduring wreckage bespeak a latent urgency waning in the arc-light of an incuse apathy sorting out our besotted pendentries making new the tarnished talisman we wear as an armamental remembrance of the bloodsiege vestiges we choose to forget are part of ourselves devolving as within an entropic ambience which enamors us to stand as one choosing to lose what little countenance offers us its empyreal repose
this acre of lineage we seed with fossilized infirmities culling the gelid revenants of predacious historicities casted arid shadows on the flesh of our gilded gout our refusals to abandon the hovels which house an apocalyptic angst an ossifying rationality revivifying an empathetic unknowing harbored antipathies emanating as the first- fruits of ruminated ruins the refuse of an inner reality we refuse to see as the first cause of what is our unresolved ontology

Richard Carfagna has published nine poetry collections, including Confluential Trajectories and Porchcat Nadir. His poetry has also appeared in both print and Internet journals such as Shampoo Poetry, SideReality, and Moria.
