Discrimination Complaints
Students, faculty, staff, administrators, visitors, and applicants for employment or admission who believe they have been treated in a discriminatory manner because of race, color, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, verteran status, or sexual orientation may file a complaint of discrimination with the office of Equal Opportunity Services (EOS).
EOS reports directly to the President of the University, and is charged with investigating all complaints alleging discriminatory treatment. EOS will recommend corrective action to the appropriate University Official.

- Complete and sign the Complaint Form
- Contact the EOS office as necessary
In addition to filing a complaint with EOS, employees also have the right to file a civil rights complaint with the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) or the Texas Commission on Human Rights (TCHR); the time allowed for filing charges of discrimination is within 180 days from the date of the discriminatory act(s) for TCHR and 300 days for EEOC.
