Section 6: Internal Hires

The Dean, Chair, Director, or Department Head will determine the scope of the search (internal or external). If the search is internal the selection procedure shall be in accordance with the Search Committee Guidelines.

Candidates cannot be pulled from any search pool that is older than 12 months.

Internal Notice

Internal notice of a vacant position should be a minimum of two weeks.

Exceptions

The President may make exceptions to this policy/procedure.
