Appendix Q: Faculty Feedback on Candidate Search Pool Form

The Faculty Feedback on Candidate Search Pool Form is used to collect comments by faculty not part of the search committee.

PRIOR TO INTERVIEW PROCESS, faculty may provide feedback on any candidate they chose. Comments must be indicated on the Faculty Feedback on Candidate Search Pool Form.

This process allows for feedback from various constituencies to the committee assessing the candidates. This process does not have the weight of a vote to select or not select. That choice is up to the recommendation of the Faculty Search Committee to the Department Chair and a final decision by the Dean.

Confidentiality of the review of these documents is essential. The reviewer agrees to provide feedback comments based on Job Description and Job Advertisement related criteria only.
