Scholarship in Life Sciences North Central Texas Region of the Texas Water Utilities Association
The North Central Texas Region of the Texas Water Utilities Association (TWUA) sponsors a scholarship for undergraduate students majoring in the Life Sciences at the University of Texas at Arlington. To be eligible, students must be freshman intending to major in Biology or Chemistry and Biochemistry. The scholarship provides $750, and the awardee will be recognized at the Awards Ceremony of the College of Science.
Preference will be given to current members, spouses or children of current members of the following district associations of the TWUA: Apollo, Blacklands, Metrocrest, Mid-Cities, North Central Texas, Texoma Land, White Rock, and North Texas/Laboratory Analysts Section.
Applicants must provide information on their academic background and performance, extracurricular activities, and statements of career goals and financial need.
Transfer students new to UTA may be considered only if they are current members, spouses or children of current members of the district associations listed above
