SUMMARY:National Hazing Prevention Week
DESCRIPTION:
 The ultimate goal of this awareness week is to 
 prevent hazing from happening. This goal is 
 accomplished through strong educational efforts, 
 diligent policy enforcement and comprehensive 
 and on-going efforts on campus and within 
 all organizations.\n
 \n
 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:\n
 \n
 Tweet all week for a chance to win a Kindle 
 Reader!  If at least 100 students tweet about 
 Hazing Prevention one will be selected to win 
 a kindle reader. Must use hashtag #MavericksAgainstHazing 
 to be eligible. \n
 \n
 Monday - 
 Thursday 12-1 PM, UC Mall\n
 Become a Maverick 
 Against Hazing by signing the commitment banner. 
 The first 150 to sign (each day) will receive 
 a free Hazing Prevention Week t-shirt.\n
 \n
 Tuesday Sept. 25, 12-1 PM, University Center, 
 Student Congress Chambers\n
 Lunch & Learn: 
 Bystander Intervention discussion facilitated 
 by the RVSP Peer Educators. Free pizza, soft 
 drinks, and t-shirts for the first 50 in attendance.\n
 \n
 Thursday 
 Sept. 27, 7-8 PM, College 
 Park Center\n
 Mavericks Against Hazing Volleyball 
 Night. Free t-shirts for the first 100 
 into the game. Student Organizations will also 
 compete to have the most members in attendance. 
 The winner will receive a prize offered 
 by the Office of Student Governance and Organizations. 
 Student admission is $3.\n\n
