 Come join UTA PD and friends for our annual National 
 Night Out Event. Free food , t-shirts, 
 info and more. Location: UC Mall . In case of 
 rain: Bluebonnet North. \n
 What is National 
 Night Out?\n
 It's America's Night Out Against 
 Crime!\n
 The "29th Annual National Night Out" 
 (NNO), a unique crime/drug prevention event sponsored 
 by the\n
 National Association of Town 
 Watch (NATW), has been scheduled for Tuesday, 
 October 2.\n
 (Texas will celebrate on October 
 2, 2012). We cordially invite you and your 
 community to be a part of\n
 our NIGHT OUT 2012 
 team.\n
 Last year's National Night Out campaign 
 involved citizens, law enforcement agencies, 
 civic groups,\n
 businesses, neighborhood organizations 
 and local officials from over 15,000 
 communities from all 50\n
 states, U.S. territories, 
 Canadian cities and military bases 
 worldwide. In all, over 37 million people\n
 participated 
 in National Night Out 2011.\n
 NATIONAL 
 NIGHT OUT is designed to:\n
 Heighten crime 
 and drug prevention awareness;\n
 Generate support 
 for, and participation in, local anticrime 
 programs;\n
 Strengthen neighborhood spirit 
 and police-community partnerships; and\n
 Send 
 a message to criminals letting them know that 
 neighborhoods are organized and fighting back\n
