 Hundreds of physicists from all over the world 
 will gather at UC to discuss the future linear 
 accelerators in light of the recent discovery 
 of a Higgs-like boson at the Large Hadron 
 Collider at the European Center for Nuclear 
 and Particle Physics (CERN).  This is an annual 
 conference and is held for the first time 
 in Texas.\n\n
