  SPARK - New Media, Poetry and Art festival  
(Arts & Culture - UT Arlington and Community)

The English Department and Honors College are hosting a two-day National Poetry Month Festival at the UTA Central Library in April 2013. This year's theme is New Media Poetry and Art. The festival provides a creative writing (poetry) and art film (typography and motion) workshop to both undergraduate and graduate students who want to learn poetics and art composition in order to practice New Media in their creative works.

Thursday:
8-11am - New Media *Workshop (closed)
11am - 12pm - New Media Poetry Screening
12-1pm - New Media Art Screening
1-2pm - New Media Panel Discussion (Participants include Professors Lima, Ph.D., Terrasi, MFA, and Ikeda, MFA from Studio, Media Arts and Art History, and Professor A. Miller, PH.D. from English monitored by Toni Holland, Ph.D., English)
3-4pm - Poetry Reading, Tim Richardson
4-5pm - Open Poetry Reading
