This is the true story of Richard Phillips, the cargo ship captain who, in 2009, surrendered himself over to Somali pirates so that his crew could be let free. This attack on the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama was the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years.
Admission is $1 ($1.50 with credit card) for students, faculty/staff, and public. Free fresh-popped popcorn with admission while supplies last; other concessions for sale.
