This event will teach residents how to make a fortune cookie with felt, paper, hot glue, and scissors. To take this a bit further, I will show residents that this activity is a metaphor for how they are able to shape their own fates. Residents will be able to make as many of these fortunes as they wish to serve a reminder. These fortunes would also serve as a quirky gift for a friend.
