Picture Yourself in The Shorthorn (Special Events)
When you post your Welcome Week photos on Facebook, send them to The Shorthorn, too. They may become part of The Shorthorn's gallery of Welcome Week photos submitted by students. Email your photos to MavPics@shorthorn.uta.edu. Include your name, phone number and the name of the event where the photo was taken. The Shorthorn will publish some of the photos online and some on The Shorthorn's own Facebook page so more people than ever will see them. Shorthorn editors also will select a Welcome Week Photo of the Day each day and, on Aug. 31, will select the best reader-submitted Welcome Week photo and give the person who took it a prize. Email your photos to The Shorthorn, then check theshorthorn.com to see who else was having Welcome Week fun at the same event you were.
