The Avengers (Free Outdoor Movie)

Celebrate the beginning of the semester with an outdoor movie during Maverick Stampede. This event will feature a costume contest 10 minutes prior to the movie. Come dressed in your favorite superhero costume to have a chance at winning one of three prizes. Students, faculty/staff, alumni and community members are welcomed. Free admission, free popcorn, soft drinks and concessions for sale. Lawn seating; bring a blanket or chair. Children under 17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
MOVIE SYNOPSIS: When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. That team includes superheroes Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, Hawkeye and The Hulk.
