Prof. David Hoot from the University of North Carolina Wilmington will present an illustrated talk entitled, "Divine Healthcare: The Healing Process in the Sanctuary of Asclepius at Epidaurus." The winner of the Douglas Britt Carvey Prize for best student essay in Classical Studies will also be announced.
The event, which includes a post-talk reception in 305 Carlisle Hall, is free and open to both the university community and the general public.
