Innovative Teaching Grant

Preparing teachers to understand how they can use technology to improve their teaching is imperative. Many of these teachers, however, do not have the technological skills' required to do so. In 'Wee Read' students had opportunities to work with children up to age three and their families.

Creating these board games allow pre-service teachers to see how easily they can create classroom activities and materials for more than one subject at a time (e.g., science, mathematics, language arts). In the slideshow I share some of the board games that my students in BEEP 4311 (Math & Science in Dual Language Settings) created.
